Embracing Change

Einstein once said “insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results“. We want to keep sane and healthy, so we have to embrace change.

In the age of budget cuts and greater responsibility, the society’s needs keep changing; this rate of change is not going to slow down and competition in most industries will speed up more in the next few decades. “The only thing that remains constant is change“.

To grow, we have to respond to a rapidly changing world and environment; we have to do some things differently, try new ideas, change our perspective, change the status quo.

Charles Darwing also said “it is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.

If we always think the way we’ve always thought, we will always do what we’ve always done; If we always do what we’ve always done, we will always get what we’ve always got.

Therefore: to get different, do different, to do different, think different.

Summing-up: We must be open to change. We must constantly review our options and chances to deal with threats and take advantage of opportunities that must come. We must seek information and knowledge constantly in order to avoid failure or at least minimize mistakes and maximize opportunities.
