In our current business environment we have to compete with the rest of the world. This is a hard work, and to become profitable as a company, every single member of the company must help each other out.
A “we are all in this together” mentality is definitely something we must pay close attention to. Everyone has to really believe in it. Everyone has to work for it. Everyone has to promote it.
As employees, we have our own responsibilities, and our first goal is to accomplish them the best we can and know how to do. But we are not working alone. We cooperate with other departments and we need to have good relationships with everyone inside the company.
We are all in this together,Â and together we have the experience and the skills set to do something positive about our work. Together we can growth. Therefore, we must all be responsible, we need to help each other out.
Summing-up: We need an approach similar to agile methodologies: one of the reasons agile succeeds is because there is no overall Gantt or PERT chart showing unnecessary task sequences. When work needs to be done, anyone available does the work. If near the end of an iteration, one developer is not going to complete all the tasks, then others on the team are expected to take on that work to the extent possible. Itâ€™s the responsibility of everyone on the team(company) to make sure the task gets completed.
