Sometimes just sitting quietly and allowing ourselves to observe our thoughts as they arise helps us solve problems from a more intuitive place. Key to mindfulness is paying attention to only one thing at a time.

As well as taking the time to listen to our own thoughts and emotions, active and effective listening is at the heart of great meetings and collaborative work. Listening to objections and hearing only feedback and connection rather than criticism and opposition is a crucial skill, too.

Productivity and mindfulness go together like peanut butter and jelly. Yesterday is history tomorrow is a mystery and the action is in the present.
